The Hotel Jaragua opened a new Business Center last week on the second floor of the hotel. They will be offering secretarial, translation and messenger services from the center, which is equipped with computers with integrated modems, fax machines, photocopiers, cellular phones, and access to Internet. Also available on prior request are a notary public and travel agency services. Sandra Gerber is the new general manager of the office. She was previously employed at the chain’s Capella Renaissance in Juan Dolio. She speaks Dutch, English, French German and Spanish and has 11 years of hotel experience. She will be assisted by Ilonka Carbuccia, and Katherine de Santana. The hosts of the event were Donna Perez, director of public affairs, Elizabeth Dexter, sales director and Griselda Peña, banquet sales.
