The Dominican Republic is the principal destination for Spanish tourists in Latin America, according to the new Spanish ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Manuel López Barrón de Labra. He said, “Tourists are very happy to come to this country. The Dominican Republic is currently the preferred destination in Latin America for Spanish tourists. It is because of the large hotels, and the levels of safety. Logically, traffic should increase in the future.”
