New flights by Continental Airlines

Last week, Continental Airlines announced its new flights from the United States to Latin America and Japan. These will be non-stop flights from Newark, New Jersey, to Panama and Guayaquil, Ecuador. The new flights will provide excellent connections for other Latin American destinations.

Recently Continental began non-stop flights to Lima, Peru and to Bogotá, Colombia. It is also requesting authorization from the DOT to operate non-stop flights from Houston and Newark to Tokyo, and from Newark to Osaka daily. Likewise, Continental Micronesia, a subsidiary of Continental, has requested permission from the U.S. DOT for new routes from Honolulu to Tokyo, Osaka and Sendai and from the airline’s center of operations in Guam to Saipan and Hiroshima, Nigata and Okayama in Japan.
