The Dominican Republic will be the site of the annual meeting of small hotels in the Caribbean, organized by the Caribbean Hotel Association (CHA). The event is co-sponsored by the Asociación Nacional de Hoteles y Restaurantes (Asonahores), and the local chapter of hotels which are members of the CHA.
The event will be held at Casa de Campo in La Romana. The participating hotels all have less than 75 rooms.
The Dominican Republic will be represented at the event by its CHA members Casa Bonita and Caribe in Barahona, Caribbean Village Tropics and Los Coquitos Beach Resort, in San Pedro de Macorís, Cayacoa Beach, Cayo Levantado and Villa Serena in Samaná; El Napolitano Hotel & Casino, Continental of Santo Domingo and the Sea Breeze Hotel in Sosua, Puerto Plata.
