American Express has committed to a three-year program whereby it will promote the country in its publications and contribute US$84,000 annually to support the tourism promotional activities of the Association. American Express will assist the press so that articles on the Dominican Republic are featured in its publications. It will also include items on this country in Brazilian, Argentine and Mexican American Express publications and will serve as a liaison between the country and the American Express operations in Europe.
