Sabre Travel Information Network, the American Airlines computer reservations system, opened new offices and a training center in Santo Domingo last week. Michael Parks, vice president of Sabre Travel for Latin America and the Caribbean, came for the occasion. Sabre has been offering computerized travel information and reservations services to its clients for 25 years. It is the system most used by Dominican travel agencies. The new training center can train 12 people at the same time. Sabre is one of the most important revenue producing areas of American Airlines. The new offices are adjacent to American Airlines’ offices in the In Tempo building off Winston Churchill Avenue. Raul Fiallo, director general of AA in the country, was the host of the event.
