American Airlines is sponsoring the Miami exhibition by Dominican artist Elsa Núñez. The outstanding painter’s work is being exhibited in the “One Brickel Square Gallery” in the financial and residencial sector of the town. “For me as an artist this exhibition is important as it projects the country in this city of Miami which is a world art center and it serves as a springboard for the Dominican plastic arts,” said the artist. The exhibition, the fourth in which she has participated in Miami, will be open until 30 June.
American Airlines and the Deutsch-Sudamerikanische Bank are the sponsors of the exhibition. It is the second time the U.S. airline has sponsored a renowned Dominican artist. Last year, AA held an exhibition of Candido Bidó’s work in the Admirals’ Club at Miami International Airport.
