Ed Malone, of the Americana Aruba, was named “Hotelier of the Year” by the Caribbean Hotel Association. Mr Malone, general manager of the Americana Aruba Beach Resort & Casino since 1987, has been a five-term president of the Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association and is president of the Board of Regents for the Caribbean Hospitality Training Institute, the training subsidiary of CHA. He is currently 1st vice president for CHA, following several years as committee chairman and serving in other vice presidential positions.
