Renaissance Jaragua improves services for business travelers

The management of the Renaissance Jaragua Hotel and Casino has announced that it is opening an executive Renaissance Floor this autumn, dedicated to meeting the needs and services of Santo Domingo’s many business travelers. It will provide guests with all the comforts of a modern hotel, plus advanced facilities and services needed to conduct business away from the offices. The Renaissance Floor has now been equipped with a reception area with telephones, fax machine, photocopy machine and secretarial assistance. The lounge area also provides complimentary breakfasts, and pre-dinner hors d’oeuvres and beverages. During happy hour, alcoholic beverages can be purchased at the lounge bar.

Business guests will not only be personally escorted to their rooms when they arrive, but will also receive coffee and tea, and newspapers will be delivered every morning within minutes of their wake-up call. In-room extras on the floor will include two line telephones, bathrobes, clock radios, and 27 inch remote control televisions. Extra telephone extensions will be available upon request. Guests will also receive a special elevator key which will allow them access to the floor.

Aside from the Renaissance Floor, business guests staying at the Renaissance Jaragua will also be able to take advantage of the recently completed business center which consists of a spacious conference room, with mahogany table and executive chairs, multi-lingual secretarial assistance offering translations, dictation services; a photo-copy machine, computer, fax machine, the latest in audio visual equipment, and courier services.

The hotel is also the ideal environment for meetings and conventions, accommodating groups from 10 to as many as 1,500 people, with spacious facilities that allow for the planning of both indoor and outdoor functions. From boardroom, to breakout rooms to the 930 square foot La Fiesta Showroom, Jaragua’s meeting, conference and banquet facilities offer groups unobstructed ceilings and perfect acoustics.

The Renaissance Jaragua, which has 300-rooms is in the heart of Santo Domingo. It has an oversized free form pool, a championship caliber tennis center, five gourmet and specialty restaurants, the Jubilee Disco, and a 20,000 square foot casino.
