Raised in the Dominican Republic, Brenda Corrie, will be representing the United States in the golfing World Cup to be held in Manila, Philippines, from 31 October-11 November. The Dominican golfer who began her career under her father Jack Corrie is now ranked first in the south of the United States and second in the United States among amateur players. She was part of the team that represented the United States in the Curtis Cup held in Killarney, Ireland. She graduated with honors from the business school of the University Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and the Babson College of Massachusetts with a masters degree in business.
