Miami route will have new airline

Lynx Air was to be granted the right to fly on the Dominican Republic-Curacao-Miami sectors at the 2 October meeting of the Civil Aviation Board, according to the latter’s director, lawyer Vitelio Mejia. He said that the government sees it as a priority for additional airlines to begin services from here to the United States. He said that the government is working on fulfilling the requirements to enable the U.S. to lift the prohibition on Dominican airlines to flying to the U.S. using Dominican registered aircraft.
