The Listín Diario reported that 19 persons, including a six year old girl residing in the low income area of Las Flores, in Cristo Rey, were affected when criminals threw the chemical known as "devil’s acid" at them. The persons affected were at odds to understand why they were chosen by the vandals residing in the slum area of La 40. Those affected called for the Police to stop the criminals. The acid causes burn-like lesions on the body.
