The PLD is scheduled to announce its candidates to congressional and municipal posts on Sunday, 14 December. Lidio Cadet, secretary general of the organization, denied that the candidacy of Roberto Salcedo for mayor of Santo Domingo was being negotiated with the Partido Reformista Social Cristiano.
