The president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Jorge Subero Isa, announced the court’s plans to visit the province of Montecristi in January to evaluate and probably replace the members of the court of appeals. Recently it was known that two judges of the court of appeals were involved in irregular acquisition of lands. The court would travel throughout the country in its effort to renovate the judiciary.
