Triplets to orphanage

Amantina Polanco, a widow who is dying from cervical-uterine cancer, has brought her 13-year old triplets and 10-year old daughter to the Doña Chucha orphanage. Fe, Esperanza and Caridad were left by the mother at the orphanage. Mrs. Polanco feared for the well-being of her daughters once she is gone. While normally the orphanage only accepts children under eight years, Nieves Sierra, director of the home, said she would stay with the girls until a better home is found. The girls said they wanted to stay in the home so they could study "and help mother."
