The Department of Migration deported 14 Pakistan citizens that had entered the DR illegally from Haiti en route to the United States and Canada. The head of the mafia that organized the trips, was deported. Danilo D?az, director of Migration said that so far this year 63 foreigners, principally from Asia, have been deported for attempting to reach the U.S. and Canada by way of the DR.
