A recent census of government employees carried out by the Fern?ndez administration showed that there are 287,723 government employees, of which 59.3% are men and 40.7% are women. Of the total, 231,564 work in centralized government organizations and 74,159 in decentralized organizations. 62,560 know how to use computers, 50,997 speak one or more languages, and 13,379 do not know how to read or write. Maritza Rossi de P?rez, director of the National Statistics Office presented the findings to the press.
