Former colonel, Venezuelan presidential candidate Hugo Chávez is scheduled to travel to the Dominican Republic next week to attend a seminar on Constitutional Reform organized by the government department in charge of the modernization of the Dominican state. He is one of special guests coming from Latin America and the Caribbean. Others are Luis Verde Soto from Ecuador and Jorge Ibañez from Colombia. The event, organized by the Comisión Presidencial para la Reforma y Modernización del Estado, will take place 13-14 August in Santo Domingo.
