Weather forecasters say Hurricane Danielle will bypass the Caribbean, and there is no tropical storm formation for the next few days. The Caribbean and Atlantic Basin are in the midst of the Hurricane Season, with the peak time for the DR being August-mid September. Weather reports indicate there is a tropical wave about half way in the Atlantic, however, its southern position (between 5 and 10 N), makes it highly unlikely it will threaten the Caribbean.
