The Escogido Lions came from behind in the sixth inning to eventually win 4-3 last night against the Licey Tigers, breaking the tie in games won in the Final Series of the Winter Professional Baseball Tournament. The victory puts Escogido just one game away from winning the Series – to get the Tournament trophy, a team must only be the first to win five games in the Series. Game Eight will be held tonight at 8:00 pm in Santo Domingo’s Quisqueya Stadium. The Tournament winner will represent the DR at the Caribbean Series to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico February 2-7.
