The ambassador of France in the Dominican Republic, engineer Francois Javier Deniau said that the government of France has decided to include the Dominican Republic in their "priority cooperation zone", which will benefit Dominicans. France has been assisting the DR with the renovation of its judiciary. Key French justice officials are expected in Santo Domingo today. President Leonel Fern?ndez visited France in January, and as a result cooperation has increased.
