Hotel Grand Dominicus is the newest hotel to open in La Romana. The hotel was built by the Italian group of investors head by Bruno Colombo, of Viages del Ventaglio. It has 448 rooms, three restaurants, three tennis courts, an Italian soccer court, amphitheater, and areas for water sports. The hotel is located adjacent to Viva Resort’s Club Dominicus. Viva Resorts is constructing a third hotel in the area, the Club Taino that is slated to open by year’s end.
