Hoy newspaper carries a story commenting on how surprised Dominican New York immigrants where when Hurricane Floyd knocked on their doors. The Dominicans thought they would never see a hurricane again when they moved to New York. Hurricane Floyd caused downing of trees, overflowing of rivers, broken windows, flooding of homes and sent numerous objects flying all over in New York on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
