Ana Silvia Reynoso, the new director of the National Council of Superior Education (CONES) says that the government is considering testing high school students to see if they are prepared to enter the nation’s universities. The test is part of a proposal to create a new Secretaría de Educación Superior, Ciencia y Tecnología that would replace the present CONES.
