US Transportation Secretary, Rodney E. Slater (Department of Transportation) is expected today in Santo Domingo. He will sign an agreement providing for open skies between the DR and US. At the same time, a report in Hoy newspaper says that the FAA will lift the Category Three restriction that impeded Dominican carriers from flying to the US.
