The PRD registered Hipólito Mejia and Milagros Ortiz Bosch as their presidential and vice presidential candidates yesterday at the Junta Central Electoral. The other two leading political parties, the PLD and the PRSC have yet to even announce their vice presidential candidates. The PLD has said it will choose its candidate on 6 March. The JCE deadline to register candidates is 16 March.
