Mejía visits Balaguer again

Following a lunch with President Leonel Fernández, President-elect Hipólito Mejía visited the Máximo Gómez home of former President Joaquín Balaguer. After attending the act in which he received the certificate, he visited President Joaquin Balaguer at his Máximo Gómez residence at 2 pm. Yesterday he also visited with the top-ranking executives of the DR’s leading bank, the Banco Popular. At the BPD’s headquarters at John F. Kennedy Avenue he met with Alejandro Grullón, president of the Grupo Financiero Popular and Manuel A. Grullón, president of the Banco Popular Dominicano.
