President Leonel Fernandez received the credentials of new Taiwan Ambassador Adolfo Sun. The new ambassador was received yesterday at noon at the National Palace. Ambassador Sun was born 4 October 1948. He carried out studies at the University of Tamkang in Taiwan and completed doctoral studies in the Spanish language at the University of Madrid in Spain. Prior to this post, he was director of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States. He was also second secretary in charge of information at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Lima, Peru and third secretary in charge of information at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Argentina.
