American Eagle announces Mayaguez-Santo Domingo service

American Eagle, the American Airlines commuter airline, announced new service from Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Santo Domingo starting 1 November. American Eagle will operate one daily round-trip flight using the airline’s largest aircraft, the 64-seat Super ATR. Jacques Vachon, president of American Eagle in the Caribbean said that the flight will benefit the business community and students who fly often to the DR. American Eagle operates more than 160 daily flights to 21 destinations in the Caribbean. American Eagle flight 5693 will depart Mayaguez at 9:05 am and arrive 10 am to Las Americas International Airport. The plan is scheduled to depart Santo Domingo at 7:40 am and arrive at 8:35 am to Puerto Rico.(15 June 2000)
