Kidnapped suspected drug dealer to stand trial for money laundering

The District Attorney sent to justice a case for money laundering against Carlos Federico Herrera Dalmasí. Recently, Herrera Dalmasí was able to escape his kidnappers after 45 days. Reportedly, he was kidnapped after leaving unresolved drug matters pending in the United States with Dominican and Colombian drug dealers. The DA says that Herrera Dalmasí is suspect of money laundering over RD$24.5 million. He was the owner of Ritmo 60 discotheque, a Toyota Lexus, a Jaguar, expensive homes in the Alameda neighborhood, and several companies.
