Centennial Dominicana is hiring 1,500 employees for its new services in the DR. Centennial Dominicana is the result of an alliance between US-based Centennial Communications Corporation and All America Cables and Radio Inc., the oldest telecommunication company operating in the DR. Centennial Dominicana will be primarily offering digital cellular service. The recruiting efforts will continue on 24 and 25 June at the Hotel Jaragua. Alvaro Nadal, spokesman for the company, said that the firm will invest US$70 million in the service within the next 12 months.
