The Commissioner for the Reform and Modernization of Justice, Aura Celeste Fernandez denounced that police agents in Santo Domingo have been known to sexually abuse arrested adolescents. She urged that the District Attorney investigate her claim. She said that agents responsible for rape in the Plan Piloto police headquarter in the Honduras neighborhood need to be sent to ordinary justice.
