Hoy newspaper reports that the new Aeropuerto International Nueva Isabela in northern Santo Domingo will be finished this month. Dr. Radhames Jimenez, director of the Airport Department said that work is well advanced. He said that the new airport that is located near Villa Mella will be able to start cargo and passenger operations at the end of this month. The airport replaces the Herrera International Airport that is located at Avenida Luperón.
