El Siglo newspaper reports that President Leonel Fernandez met last Saturday with representatives of power distributors, generators and CDE executives to urge these to stop the volleyball of accusations being thrown at each other in the local press. The newspaper’s sources say that the statesman ordered generation projects to be accelerated, that debt be conciliated and paid off, and that the CDE and the new companies treat each other as partners, such as established in the capitalization contracts.
