The chief of the Police Major General Pedro de Jesus Candelier said that he will send the agents accused by Aura Celeste Fernandez, Commissioner for the Support of Reform and Modernization of Justice, to ordinary courts. He accepts the recommendation made by Santo Domingo District Attorney Francisco Dominguez Brito the effect. Fernandez presented the case of police agents involved in torture and sexual abuse of minors at police stations.
