The best regional juvenile (16 years and younger) volleyball will be staged in La Romana this coming 24-29 July. The North, Central American and Caribbean Volleyball Championship will bring teams from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Haiti to the southeastern La Romana city. The winner of the championship will participate in the World Juvenile Tournament, to be held in the Philippines in August 2001. Puerto Rico is the present regional volleyball champion.
