"Center Stage" opens in Santo Domingo, Thursday, 20 at the Hollywood Diamond Cinema and in it stars, the new Dominican international revelation, Zoe Saldaña. Listín Diario’s weekender "Evasión" magazine points out that doors are wide open for Saldaña, the New Jersey-born daughter of Dominicans. Saldaña moved back to the DR when she was 10 and studied dance here. As a young adult, she returned to the States. She has acted in off Broadway dramas, works with the Faces Theater Co. in Brooklyn, and has had roles in "Keeping it Real" and "Law and Order" series.
