Centennial Communications Corporation gala

Michael Small, president of Centennial Communications Corporation, Carlos Bofill, president of Centennial Communication Corporations for the Caribbean and other leading executives of the US telecommunications firm were in Santo Domingo last week for the events that marked the merger with a Dominican company. Centennial Dominicana began operations in the DR in January and expects to invest RD$70 million in its first year. The company will be primarily offering wireless telecommunications services, such as cellular service. The company seeks to compete with Codetel and Tricom, and has created local expectations for improved services nationwide. The merger was promoted in the gala affair at the Hotel Renaissance Jaragua. Alvaro Nadal is Centennial Dominicana’s chief operations executive. Centennial offers its services in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Louisiana, Texas, California, Arizona and Puerto Rico.
