The Dominican Association of Four Wheel Bikes is sponsoring on Saturday, 5 August the "Primer Paseo Enduro en Four Wheels". The 300 km. route on four wheel bikes will take around 300 participants that have registered from Santo Domingo to the East Coast beaches. The tour includes 80 kilometers along the paradisiastic East Coast, touring Miches, Macao and Bavaro beaches. The tour starts in Avenida Lope de Vega in Santo Domingo and ends in Playa Bavaro, La Altagracia province. Participants will pass through Bayaguana, Hato Mayor, Miches and Macao. Some 300 competitors are expected to participate. Categories: 300 cc, 4 x 4 and open. The event is sponsored by Brugal Rum. (3 August 2000)
