El Siglo newspaper reports that the Puerto Plata skylift is back in service. Administrator Danilo Hiraldo said that the skylift was closed four days for preventive maintenance. The skylift had been shut down on Friday. The ride takes tourists up the Mt. Isabel de Torres, for a fantastic view of the North Coast and an excursion through a lovely botanical garden.
