Alberto most likely to bypass the Caribbean

It seems very unlikely that Hurricane Alberto, the first hurricane of the present season, will affect the Dominican Republic or any other Caribbean island. Latest weather forecasts show that it is most likely to continue moving to the West-Northwest passing north of the islands. The center of Hurricane Alberto was located near latitude 16.3 North, Longitude 41.7 West at 11 am of Monday, 7 August.
