Acting president of the PRSC, Dr. Donald Reid Cabral contradicted statements made by Angel Lockward, appointed Minister of Industry and Commerce in the PRD government that starts 16 August. He said that PRSC technicians are preparing recommendations for the new government. Reid Cabral said that anyone who accepts an appointment to work in the new government does so at a personal level, and their acceptance of the post does not commit the party in no way. The official PRSC position is to not accept posts in the PRD government.
