The president of the Trinidad Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic, Fernando González Nicolás said that 36 companies from Trinidad will visit Santo Domingo on a business mission. The Trinidad Manufacturers Association, the Dominican Embassy in Trinidad and the Trinidad Chamber of Commerce in the DR organize the mission. The Caribbean businessmen will be in Santo Domingo from 10-15 September to make contact with Dominican businessmen. DR-Trinidad trade is about US$100 million a year. The DR exports fertilizers, construction material and agroindustrial products to Trinidad. It imports agrochemicals, steel, propane gas, lubricants, glass bottles.
