The director of the Department of Customs accepted the recommendation of Antonio Espín, president of the Herrera Industries Association (www.dr1.com/daily/news091200.shtml) and revoked a measure that was affecting trade. Vicente Sánchez Baret had obliged his inspectors to only clear goods that had import documents in Spanish. Sánchez explains that the measure is revoked because it was "unnecessary."
