Dominicans Juan Luis Guerra (3) and Michel Camilo (1) won Latin Grammy Awards last night during the First Annual Latin Grammy Awards presented by the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences. Inc. Juan Luis Guerra’s album "Ni Es Lo Mismo Ni Es Igual" won awards for the Best Merengue Performance, the Best Tropical Song (track "El Niágara en Bicicleta") and the Best Engineered Album. Michel Camilo won the award for the Best Latin Jazz Album, with his album Spain. In this album, Spanish guitarist Tomatito accompanied Camilo.
