The Ministry of Industry and Commerce authorized an increase of RD$3 on AVTUR (aviation fuel) and kerosene. Government also authorized increases of RD$1.10 on diesel used for power plants, and RD$0.85 to regular CDE EGP fuel. Avtur now sells for RD$23.15. (18 September 2000)
