Judge Maria Santana of Santiago ordered the arrest of the former administrator of the National Lottery. The order occurred on Friday, which forced Aristipo Vidal to remain in prison at the court until Monday. Businessman Jose Antonio Sánchez placed a complaint for swindle of RD$1 million against Aristipo and Rafael Santelises for not coming through with the promise of supplying information on the winning numbers of the Lottery. The money supposedly was handed to Rafael Santelises, former administrator of the Cibao International Airport (Santiago).
