Dominican merengue star Fernando Villalona signed a US$5 million contract with Latin Music to produce five CDs. He will receive US$1 million for each album. Felix Cabrera of the New York-based recording company said that contacts have been made with Carlos Vives and Marco Antonio Solis for the production of the first CD.
