American Forum, a non profit private institution that targets US expats living in the DR is inviting all to attend the conference, "The Myth of the Mighty American," described as an examination of stereotypes. Professor Leopoldo Artiles Gil, a sociology professor at the UASD and Ph.D candidate of the University of Minnesota, will give the talk. The event will take place Friday, 22 September at the Hotel InterContinental V Centenario pool area from 7 to 9:30 pm. A grill buffet will be served for RD$350.
