Antonio Turbí, owner of gas stations in Santo Domingo, La Romana and Santiago is not giving up. Now that the government gave in to pressures from the association of gas station owners (Anadegas) and banned him from dropping the price on fuel, he has found away to continue to have the upper hand. He announced that he will be reimbursing his clients in cash RD$1 per gallon. By selling cheaper gasoline, he had increased his sales 100%.
